The clash of religious faiths

*** Disclaimer*** Here is a very very hot topic discussion, and maybe some might feel offended. Some might be thinking why this? Why even bother writing it my faith is the right faith. I don't need hating comments on here I need you to be open minded due that is based on research through books and statements even by real people and people of different faiths.

As we all know we have all religions and different faiths practices and different point of views. it's all in the open. Why feel offended to someone opinions? Yes it might come off the wrong or someone has mistype something and then all the fights begin your not seeing it this way your not see this way. why even fight about it? This is the main question I have been trying to research to bind misunderstandings and reach out to fellow readers of beliefs. We all have our ways of doing things as most Christians getting up on Sunday to go their Mass, Pagans or Wiccan's going outside or having an alter to do there practices , Buddhist going to there temples and chanting or praying to there beliefs, many many more have there ways of doing things. Why such great conflict on bashing beliefs ? Well for one you might have been baptized into a religion given or passed on from family , many of believers choose to be in it. How do we know whats right for us ? Some people go by a cleansed feeling , some other think hey i like this after reading up on it . Is it that bad we decide to believe in something where think it is right? Either way no one is really accepted anywhere. Why is so easy to be a child and not care for it? Kindergarten Is the way to see it. All different types of children of race, skin color , belief or even background play all together on a play ground in peace and everyone hears laughter and joy, they share there dreams with a simple thought and see how carefree everything is. When they group then all the religious and all day hit them as everyone grows and time passes by. Some are being taught to hate other being for they believe in. What is the reasoning behind this? Is it because our history showed us the wrong way of thinking? So many questions pop up and many questions are unanswered. The clash of faith began before we are even born, look back at our history, The crusades. A every dark age history. What is a crusade ? A religiously sanctioned campaign to restore the holy land. Rivals such as Muslims, Pagan Slavs, Mongols , other Christian heretics and so on we fought to force a single belief upon others. Look at the Salem witch trails people hung for being accused of being witch. So many live lost in the process and because of faith. Kids being picked on in school , not liked by a community or just stay hidden because of the fear of being pushed to the curb for being who they are and unique in their way. The way I see it one single voice changes everything. The pope calls to restore the holy land , a person claims to be possessed, the some other says hey your faith is all wrong! Why can't there be just peace between the different religions? The pointing fingers, what does it do all us? Religious wars are on going to no end. I have asked and also interviewed real people about this, I will be posting links and resources to help to give everyone a better understanding to each everyone's entitlement to having there own belief, with opinion to it.

I have gathered my from own facebook page different comments on why bash other beliefs and this is what of of them stated. I also changed the names for protection purposes. I asked for an opinion seeing it neutral: Question asked as a topic : What your opinion in the right belief ? Here are two of them.

Amber from NY: Ummm it's my opinion that is called a belief for a reason.. you believe it ...Not everyone believes same thing. SO why bash? Just believe what you know in your heart to be true,, end of story.

Amy from SC: I hate when others tell me that my beliefs are wrong, so I try to make sure when it comes to religion I try and show tolerance and just agree to disagree.

Robert: I'm not one to bash beliefs or religion either. No one belief or religion is right, or wrong, it simply is. For anyone to say that my belief, my religion, or my god is right, and yours is wrong, is a fool. Its happened way too much going back to the crusades, and further back that people were put to the sword or burned at stake for this. Educated idiots, needless countless number of deaths. So therefore I keep an open mind with all beliefs and religions, while maintaining my own, and if asked, I share my views and opinions, but that's all they are in the end :D

Les :Thou shalt not covet thy neighbours ox, nor his ass nor his religion - but, when he feasts, help eat his fatted calf lol - I think its a way to advertise our own religion and justify it to ourselves and our homies. We see a bit of christian bashing, in fun and only berbally hopefully, in Paganism but Robert is dead right and one of the major problems with other religions saying they are the only one that is right. Your religion should be right for you but, that said, dont bend one religion to suit - either you comply, change it if wrong for the good of all, or find another religion. There are over 100 varieties of Wicca alone because people wont abide some aspect or want to do something different. Surely, we do not need another because some witch wants to only eat hershey bars at the full moon ritual.

I have also taken the time to seek a very good friend who is currently serving our country as a Chaplin's assistant . I have interviewed him to see his opinion in his profession , also being neutral to all faiths. Answering questions.

Me: hey Chris thanks for serving our country and being here with on this interview with me today and HOOAH to ya man.

Chris : Glad to be here.

Me: You as Chaplin's assistant have to see it neutral. How do you see it with the bashing of faiths and religions?

Chris: Each god asks only to be worshiped, but not many specify. I don' t think there is only one way to worship the creator and the one god, so long as you know it is to him you worship and not others. You should try to lead them into understanding. Each religion has people they worship. Arabs have Allah which means father, they also believe in Jesus, christians have the father and Jesus, budists, hindu, greek and others have gods. Native american Indians believed there was a spirit controlling ech thing but one almighty god. Thing is every religion believes in one all powerful being and many lesser powerful beings.The conflict is not all about who the almighty one god is, its about how to worship, and recognize or worship of the other spiritual being.Each god asks only to be worshiped, but not many specify how. I don't think there is only one way to worship the creator and the one god, so long as you know it is to him you worship and not others.

Me:How do you think this conflict can end and more of an understanding?

Chris: For each religion to have 2 leaders and 2 people new in the faith discuss with each other and see that they worship the same god just different And for those that don't worship the one god, gender less as it is, try to understand the one god, not just say he doesn't exist?

Me:So your are saying we are fighting against each other and putting each other just because scriptures are translated wrong ? and it is the same exact thing?

Chris: Basicly Christians jew, catholics native americand and greek, and other religions believe in the same guy, just worship differently. Christian god said do not worship any other gods before me, not to not recognize the spirits.

Me:How would you recommend to be more tolerant about these kind of things ?

Chris: To not put down other religions?

Me: yeah

Chris: God doesnt want us to outcast people who believe differentyl, but to try to teach those that have been led astry. Or have no teaching at all.I suggest we be tolerant of other practices and try to teach each other what we know.

Me: you are saying god but what gender does a god have ?

Chris: It doesnt have one.

Me: how do you figure that ?

Chris: It is everything male and female. It is balance, and karma, and tin/yang. Everything god is, nature is. Loving but just, fire and water, god has no gender. It just is the maker of the balance

Me: thank you Chris for this opinion and once again thank you for serving our country. I know you have a busy day ahead of you and we will keep in touch with it.

From a Chaplin's point of view very interesting man. As we all can see we are believing in the same but fighting each other for practicing our beliefs different. We should be who we are and just believe what is right for us, no trying to convert other just lend an ear and learn from others. If we would open our eyes then we might see the world with different eyes and also take a step closer to world peace . Who knows what the future might bring.
